Today my sister and I visited Ohio Valley Natural Fibers for a tour of their facilities. I love the outlandish intricacy of these early 1900’s fiber machines. Also that everything was covered in wool dust.

I like this less than the crochet shorts. However, at least the people are still real. I’m so sick of looking at surgically and cosmetically enhanced people. I miss seeing a real face and real hair. All the fake is making me want to drop out of mainstream culture. Not that I really want to go back to this, mind you. But, I wish we’d back off the veneers, the hair extensions, the botox, the breast implants etc ad nauseum.
